The Apple Watch, which debuted in June with a smartwatch-style display, has already been rumored to include a version of Edge, the popular browser-based app developer’s toolkit.
It’s not clear whether that will be an exclusive feature, or a separate app for the watch, but it’s clear Apple has a lot of work to do before the Apple Watches launch.
The Verge’s Mark Gurman says that Edge has already made its way to Apple’s Watch app, and that a few weeks ago it was showing up in the Watch app for Android Wear.
A few days ago, the app also appeared in the Apple app, where it’s currently listed as “not available” for now.
That’s a bit of a surprise, given the fact that Apple has made a lot more money from the Watch, especially with the Watch’s new “durable” plastic case.
