Google’s Nexus smartphone has been stuck in a rut of sorts, with a slew of big-name releases over the past few years, but it’s finally come out of it with a bang.
Google announced the Nexus 10 on Monday, and while we’re still waiting for the official name, we know what it will look like.
The Nexus 10 has the same size and shape as the Nexus 7, but comes with an upgraded camera that uses infrared and LED flash to create more vibrant images.
There are also new Android 8.0 Oreo features, including the ability to quickly install custom ROMs, and a faster processor and camera than the Pixel and Pixel XL.
All of that sounds great, but how do you get that phone looking like an iPad?
If you’ve ever tried to do that on an iPhone, you’ll understand why it’s difficult.
Google doesn’t allow third-party app developers to create apps that take advantage of the new Nexus 10’s design, and many of the popular ones are simply too big to fit on the phone.
If you’re interested in taking your phone to the next level, we recommend checking out a few tutorials that offer a number of different ways to use the Nexus phone’s display.
If you have an iPad Pro, you can take it with you to the Apple Store for a discount on the Pixel or Pixel XL, but the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will only be available for a limited time at Best Buy.
