Apple is reportedly to begin selling the iPad mini with a 3D touch display for India.
The company said that the new iPad mini will go on sale in the country by the end of March, and will be available in four different configurations: mini 2, mini 3, and mini 4.
The company is launching the iPad Mini in India at Rs 1,199 (Rs 549), a cheaper price than the current iPad mini 3 which starts at Rs 749 (Rs 2,09,999).
The new iPad is said to feature a new Retina display, but it does not look like Apple is selling the new device with a Retina Display.
However, Apple has confirmed that it will offer a version of the new product that is equipped with the 3D Touch feature, which enables users to touch the screen to make it display a 3-dimensional picture.
Apple has not yet released a specific price for the iPad, but the company is reportedly selling the device for Rs 549.
The iPad mini is said a successor to the iPad Air 2 that is already on sale.
Apple is currently targeting a mid-March launch for the new version of its iPad, which will be priced at Rs 4,499.
It is also said to launch a new iPad Pro that will be cheaper at Rs 8,999.
