The Apple iPhone 8 will have a new camera sensor, new camera technology and an upgraded version of the iPhone 8 Plus, the company said Thursday.
The new iPhones and Galaxy Note models will be launched later this year, Apple said.
The new phones will have better cameras, better cameras with faster depth cameras and better optical image stabilization, the San Francisco-based company said.
They’ll also have faster processors and faster memory.
Apple also unveiled new camera features for the new phones.
The iPhone 8 and the iPhone X, which will be released later this month, will include new front-facing camera features, a new optical image stabilizer and an improved optical image processor, Apple CEO Tim Cook said.
The next-generation iPhones will also feature a new Apple Pay app, Apple announced.
The Galaxy Note 8 will come with an improved camera sensor and an Apple Pay processor, Samsung said.
And the Note 8 and Galaxy S8 will be the first phones to include Apple Pay support.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will include an improved video camera sensor with faster image processing, faster depth and an increased number of pixels, Samsung announced.
The company also announced that Samsung Pay will be added to the Galaxy S line of smartphones.
The Apple iPhone X will be a larger version of Apple’s iPhone XS and iPhone XR, Apple told The Wall Street Journal.
The phones will also come with the iPhone 9 model, the latest version of iPhone software.
The company also said that it’s launching the iPhone SE and iPhone SE Plus, two new iPhones.
The iPhone X Plus will come in three colors, Apple confirmed.
