Lexus, which owns the Moto G and X, announced a new smartphone with a touchscreen that will let users control all of its features via voice commands, including navigation.
The new smartphone, codenamed Lexus Touch, will have the same touch screen technology as the Moto X, but will be the first of its kind to have a touch screen.
The phone will also feature an improved camera, which is expected to have 4K video, and a much bigger battery.
The company said it is targeting the US market, where the Moto 5 has the best sales.
The launch of the new smartphone comes as the iPhone 7, which has a higher screen resolution than the Moto 6 and Moto 5, is expected this month.
Google is hoping to win back the attention of users who prefer the more advanced capabilities of the Moto 4, which also has a touchscreen.
It has been releasing devices with its Android smartphone operating system, but it has yet to release a smartphone with such a touch-screen technology.
Earlier this year, Google unveiled the Pixel phones, which had a touch display and a camera, and its Pixel XL, which added a fingerprint scanner and an infrared sensor to its camera.
The phones are expected to compete against the new Samsung Galaxy S8, which will be available in late September.
Apple is expected in September to launch the iPhone X and the iPhone 10, both of which are said to have an OLED display and powerful cameras.
