McDonald’s has announced it is opening its U.A.C.H. campus in the San Fernando Valley, opening on July 2.
The chain will open at 8 a.m. daily.
The location will be the first location to open in California, a territory McDonald’s first opened in 1987 in Anaheim, California.
The San Fernando, California-based company has grown into one of the largest restaurant chains in the world, serving more than 2.7 billion meals a year, according to the company.
McDonald’s has long been known for its signature flavor, the Double Double.
Its original product was a double cheeseburger topped with a slice of lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise and pickles, but it has expanded to other items as well, such as the McChicken, a burger topped with cheese and bacon.
McGreeve said in a statement that it is “excited to welcome the McDelivery team to Los Angeles, which is our third home and first in the country.”
“McDelivery is an integral part of our delivery service, which has proven to be a powerful way for us to deliver our customers great value,” the company said.
“We’re looking forward to working with the team and the community to build the future of delivery, as well as grow the brand.”
McDonalds will offer three different menu options: The McChicken will be a classic burger with fries, a tomato-based relish and cheese, a McChicken burger topped off with a sauce made from onion, lettuce, pickles and tomato.
The McChicken will be an “all-American classic” burger with lettuce, cheese, bacon, tomato sauce and tomato relish, while the McDouble Double will be similar to a traditional Double Double but topped with fries and a tomato sauce.
The company said it plans to offer delivery service through a mobile app that will allow customers to pick up and order food at their convenience.
Mcgreeve added that the company will also offer delivery through its online delivery service in the future, which the company described as a “platform for fast and easy delivery of your favorite meals.”
The company did not say how much the McChickens would cost, or what kind of service it will offer.
